Egri-Szepessy Castle Address: 60 Kossuth St.
The Egri-Szepessy Castle was built between 1790 and 1801 by Vencel Klir. The original paintings on the walls were conserved when the building was renovated. The rooms on the ground floor have coved vaults, the window bars are of copf style. The building has mansard roof. The ground floor is now used for social purposes, the first floor is the home of the local history exhibition, and also different temporary exhibitions are organized there. The Calvinist Church was designed and rebuilt by Vencel Klir again, exactly at the same time when the Szepessy castle was built. The church is of classical style and was finished in 1801. The ceremonial blessing was given in 1819. There are three bells in the church which were made in 1926 and 1927 by Imre Slezák and Frigyes Seltenhoffer. The Roman Catholic Church
The church of Roman style was built between 1938 and 1943 by Joseph Lenz local landowner, and it was blessed in honour of Taintless Heart of Virgin Mary in 1944. It has 16 lead-glass windows made by Attila Mohay, which show famous events from Hungarian history and scenes from the Bible.
